Registering a Pediatric Galileo account for your dependent

For eligible members under age 18, please take a moment to create a separate account for your child or underage dependent, as each patient of Galileo needs to have their own unique account. This will give our team the ability to provide your child/underage dependent the individualized, focused care they need. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Download the Galileo app and begin creating a new Galileo account for your child.
  2. While each account does not require a unique phone number, they do require a unique email address.

If you don't already have an email address for your child, and you use Gmail or Hotmail, you can append a plus ("+") sign and any combination of letters or numbers after your email address before the "@". For example, if a parent's email is parent@gmail.com, then the email for the child can be parent+child@gmail.com. Any email sent to the appended address with the "+" will arrive in your existing Gmail inbox.

  1. Input your child's insurance information and details, such as date of birth, zip code, and state.

  2. Verify a phone number — A parent or guardian's phone number should be used for account verification. We use this as an added layer of security to protect your account, and to reach you in case of urgent medical issues.

  3. Connect with our providers by tapping "Get care for a new issue" in the app.

If you have any questions, you can also tap "Ask us anything", our Patient Support team will help respond to any questions or get you connected to a clinician.

    • For Pediatric consults, you will be prompted to provide identification. For children who do not have their own ID, you may upload the parent or guardian's ID instead.

As a reminder, Parents always have access to information about services provided by Galileo's pediatric providers.
